He admitted that he concocted everything in a recorded interview with Walter Bowart. <br /><br />The "MK" in MKUltra does not stand for "Mind Kontrolle." That is a ridiculous bit of folk etymology proffered as established fact by pseudo-researchers who don't know the difference between documentation and hallucination. You clearly do not understand how CIA cryptonyms of that era worked. <br /><br />Whenever a code name for a project, agent or location was required, a list of random words was consulted. The word at the top of that list was preceded by a two-letter prefix (usually called a digraph within the Agency) which indicated which sector of the Agency had control of that particular project, agent or location. The letters were randomly chosen. ALL projects -- including those which had no relationship whatsoever to mind control or behavior modification -- were given the MK prefix if they were being conducted by the Technical Services Division.<br /><br />By this point, there has been so much nonsense written about MKUltra that I long ago gave up trying to separate the horseshit from the Hershey's.
